Wharton has been the formwork and shoring supplier for hundreds of projects over the past twenty years. Contractors have used our equipment on a large variety of projects – everything from soccer stadiums and bridges to sewage treatment plants and airports.
Wharton also rents and sells braces for tilt-up construction, and does design work for tilt-up panel shop drawings while providing a complete list of necessary braces, lifting inserts, bracing inserts, and other miscellaneous tilt-up accessories such as helical ground anchors and spreader bars. Wharton provides material and brace estimating services for all tilt-up projects, both big and small.
Wharton carries Symon’s Soldier Beam which can be used as a brace, horizontal shore, vertical shore, strongback, waler, truss, one-sided wall form and in many other typical heavy-duty applications. We also carry a new first in the industry, heavy-duty 12″ strongback waler channel that comes in different lengths from 16′ all the way down to 8′ sections and can be spliced together to create new lengths.
